With the current economic problems around the world, copper is making a strong comeback in the world of jewelry as a whole, and in fashion jewelry in particular. Copper is relatively inexpensive. A pound of copper is currently priced at less than US$2, while gold is nearly US$900 an ounce! So copper is the perfect metal to be used in fashion jewelry.
